To arrange tours with ANDEAN TURTLE we have to first agree on your rough Itineray with Dates.. After this we agree on the detailes and Costs.. A normal Trekking & Climbing program with us are around $100-$110 Per person a day / All Included except entrance fees.. This all depends of your prefered standard of tour of course....
EXTRA DAYS
We have a lot of people who like to have extra Weather days.. This is OK - But its costly in the programs. We obviously have to send Food - Transport Gear - Equipment & Guides for it.. An extra day in Cotopaxi is around $100 & for Chimborazo its $120 per person...If weather is realy bad - it normaly takes at least 48 hours before its possible to climb again.. Furtunally this does not happen to often...
GROUP SIZE
A Question we always get Its impossible to answer until in the late evening the day before the Tours start..
If you are 2 pax or more - we can most of the time go on your prefered dates.
If you are alone you have to join into confirmed tours or you can do a private tour and pay 90% more from normal price. All tours are based with minimum 2 people..
If you are a couple who likes to do a private tour its 25% more. You have to make it clear to us that you dont like to have others joining the tour.
We can arrange everything & combine it all so it works good logisticaly etc etc. You may combine Climbing, Trekking, Galapagos, Coast, Jungle tours, Horse riding, Train rides, Indian markets, Fishing, Rafting, Kayaking, Biking, Cloud forest trips, visits to hot springs, or even let us arrange Spanish & Dance lessons for you. Serveral things must be taken into consideration whilst arranging these tours such as age and general fitness levels, also time must be allowed for aclimatization before climbing certain mountains.
The hardest thing to arrange is normally the Galapagos trips hence it is best to arrange this first and everything else you want to do around that. Trekking and climbing should be situated near the beginning of the trip for the best acclimatization to altitude because acclimatization is quickly lost in the jungle, Galapagos, or coast. We aim at getting you a combination of the activities you like at a price you can afford. Just give us your rough itinerary and budget and we will put together a trip for you.
ARRANGE THE TOUR
If you dont have all your gear - you must be in the Agency to try the gear and sign contracts a minimum of 36 hours before departure. But its of course better if its before this time limit. You cant just land the night before and join the group in the next morning even if you pre paid before arrivial.. It takes about 45min to arrange Gear & Contracts Etc etc. And if we dont have all the gear for you in the agency - Its a big problem - especially on weekends or holidays.....
PAYMENT
We need a deposit for reservations.. sended to us via Western Union its Fast - Safe - Reliable & Traceable. If you just like to reserve one tour like Cotopaxi Climb or Jungle etc etc.. The transfere cost is high.... So when its better you send the full amount of the tour cost.. ..
