Monkeys, sloths, anteaters, armadillos, tapirs, jaguars, manatees and fresh water dolphins are just some of the mamals that live here, along with a great variety of reptiles such as snakes, caiman and the great anaconda. Most jungle operators will stay on larger rivers like the Napo and Agua Rico where there is less animal life. Our trips are chosen to showcase smaller rivers and lagoons with much more biodiversity to see.
