The islands are a world beyond your imagination with its fearless and unique creatures. You can snorkel or dive with sea-lions, sharks, dolphins and mantarys, or float eye to eye with a penguin. The sub-marine world of fishes and colours is like no other. You can stand next to a Blue Footed Booby feeding its young, watch a giant 200kg turtle lumbering through a cactus forest. The scenery is barren and volcanic with various iguanas scurrying over the lava. The wildlife is truely phenominal but some find the landscape bare and ugly. Galapagos is for the wilderness and wildlife enthusiast not for the average sun seeker. Galapagos boats offer four, five and eight day tours from US$70/day to US$400/day finding the right tour for you can be very hard to do.
Although it is possible to stay on an island and take catamaran day tours this is not recomended, boats are often overcrowded and never use their sails even if advertised. We recommend taking a boat tour in your chosen catagory and maybe stay two or three days in Puerto Ayora on the main island of Santa Cruz after your tour is over.
For reservations try to be as flexiable as possible, boats are often booked up. It´s best to choose a class of boat and then let us know how many of you there are and which dates you would prefer, this will enable us to find you some options to choose from.

Park entrance and flight allow you to stay on the islands for up to 21 days without special permissions.
The high seasons are: 15th June to 15th Sept. and: 15th Nov. to 15th Jan. although these vary from boat to boat and year to year!
